Basketball Recap: Carver A&T Comes Up Short

Carver A&T was the 39-23 winner over Perry Hall when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats were beaten by the Gators 63-32 on Wednesday. The Wildcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 33-11.

Carver A&T's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amaya Epps, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Elisah Guity, who had eight points.

This is the second loss in a row for Carver A&T and nudges their season record down to 2-2. As for Perry Hall, they now have a winning record of 1-0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carver A&T will head out to take on Parkville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Perry Hall, they will venture away from home to face off against Overlea at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
