Volleyball Recap: Westmont Extends Winning Streak to Four

Westmont extended their winning streak to four on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 20-8 in the process. Everything went their way against the Oak Grove Eagles as they made off with a 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-1 back in March.

As for Oak Grove, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games. That's still a better percentage than their 5-19 record this season. They just can't catch a break and have now endured four defeats in a row.

Despite the loss, Oak Grove still got an impressive performance from Gavin Rino, who had eight digs.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Westmont is set to face off against their familiar foe Silver Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Oak Grove will take on rival Prospect at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
