Volleyball Recap: North Branch Victorious

North Branch had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They had just enough and edged out the Hartland Eagles 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Broncos in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won five in a row.

Kylie Doherty had an outrageously good game as she had 34 assists and four digs. She is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 21 games she's played dating back to last season. Haley Henry was another key player, getting ten digs and two assists.

Hartland's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

North Branch didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Okemos on the 23rd. As for Hartland, they will take on South Lyon on Wednesday.
