Basketball Game Preview: Bracken Christian Warriors vs. Prairie Lea Indians

The Bracken Christian Warriors will venture away from home to face off against the Prairie Lea Indians at 8:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Bracken Christian saw some tournament action on Saturday. They were dealt a 54-5 defeat at the hands of First Baptist.

Meanwhile, Prairie Lea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 56-0 loss at the hands of Texas School for the Deaf. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1327th, while the Rangers are ranked 307th).

Prairie Lea's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Bracken Christian, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Everything came up roses for Bracken Christian against Prairie Lea when the teams last played back in November, as the team secured a 46-14 win. In that matchup, Bracken Christian amassed a halftime lead of 27-6, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Thursday.
