Morro Bay and Atascadero are an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2015, but likely not for long. The Pirates will venture away from home to face off against the Greyhounds at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Morro Bay will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Atascadero couldn't beat Templeton on Thursday even though they stacked six runs on them in the second inning. The Greyhounds took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. Surprisingly, this marked the Greyhounds' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Wyatt Litten made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI. Evan Wanner was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Morro Bay's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Atascadero, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-12 record this season.

Atascadero's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Morro Bay has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .436.
