Basketball Recap: Woodbridge Wins Going Away Against Wootton

Woodbridge saw some tournament action on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 57-43 victory over the Wootton Patriots. That 14 point margin sets a new team best for the Vikings this season.

Wootton lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Nigel Gbekie, who posted 11 points. Brian Ngouzo was another key player, putting up eight points and ten rebounds.

Woodbridge's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Wootton, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Woodbridge wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 68-66 victory against Rockville on the 27th. As for Wootton, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-38 win against Seneca Valley on the 27th.
