Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cambridge). Their defense stepped up to hand the New Lexington Panthers an 11-0 shutout on Thursday. Winning may never get old, but Cambridge sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-7-2. As for New Lexington, their loss dropped their record down to 0-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Cambridge will venture away from home to take on Maysville at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for New Lexington, they will head out to challenge Westfall at 7:15 p.m. on Monday.
