Football Game Recap: South Shelby vs. Macon

After soaring high against Putnam County last week, Icarus fell to the ground on Friday. South Shelby found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-32 punch to the gut against Macon. If South Shelby were expecting to get some payback for the 30-57 loss against Macon the last time they met, then they were left disappointed.

The defeat dropped South Shelby's record to 1-2. The win bumped Macon's record up to 3-0.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. South Shelby are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Palmyra next week at 7:00 PM. Macon will be staying on the road, facing off against Monroe City.
