Volleyball Recap: Indio Rajahs vs. Twentynine Palms Wildcats
There's no place like home for Indio, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past the Twentynine Palms Wildcats 3-0 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Rajahs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Indio walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The final score came out to 25-16, 25-10, 25-18.
It was another big night for Anitzi Zarco, who had 23 digs and three aces.
Zarco wasn't the only good server: Indio was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in five consecutive games.
