Baseball Recap: Zephyrhills Has No Trouble Against Tenoroc

Zephyrhills never got on the board in their matchup last Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Tenoroc on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 19-4 margin over the Titans. The victory continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won eight in a row.

The team relied heavily on Traiten Costello, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, two doubles, and one run. He has become a key player for Zephyrhills: the team is undefeated when he posts at least three hits, but 3-13 otherwise. Wesley Coffman was another key player, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2.

Zephyrhills always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .686. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Tenoroc only posted an OBP of .400.

Zephyrhills' win bumped their record up to 6-13. As for Tenoroc, they dropped their record down to 0-15 with the loss, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season.
