Volleyball Recap: H&H Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

There's no place like home for H&H, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Wilber-Clatonia Wolverines on Thursday, sneaking past 2-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bearcats as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day H&H got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-15, 18-25, 25-19.

Jaylah Gross was the offensive standout of the match as she had 18 digs and two assists. Those two assists gave her a new career-high.

When it comes to explaining why Wilber-Clatonia lost, don't look at Camille Nohavek. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and three assists. Nohavek also served an ace, marking her first of the season.

H&H's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Wilber-Clatonia, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.

H&H wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Sandy Creek on the 4th. As for Wilber-Clatonia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Lourdes Central Catholic on the 6th.
