Volleyball Recap: Wheaton North Comes Up Short

Wheaton North was the 2-0 winner over Plainfield North when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons fell 2-0 to the Tigers on Wednesday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Wheaton North was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-23.

Aidan Syswerda paced Wheaton North's offense, picking up 12 kills. Syswerda got some help from Trey Hubner and his 17 assists.

Wheaton North's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Plainfield North, the victory got them back to even at 10-10.

Wheaton North wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Downers Grove North on the 24th. As for Plainfield North, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Bolingbrook on the 24th.
