Volleyball Recap: Brevard Takes a Loss

Brevard lost against Franklin back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Blue Devils lost 3-0 to the Panthers. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Brevard ultimately came up short, they really made Franklin work, particularly in the third set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21, 26-24.

When it comes to explaining why Brevard lost, don't look at Addison Worley. Despite the final result, she had ten digs and four assists. Worley is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 11 games she's played.

Brevard's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Franklin, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-2.

Brevard wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Enka on the 19th. As for Franklin, they have also already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Murphy on the 22nd.
