McAdory is a perfect 10-0 against Bessemer City since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Yellowjackets will look to defend their home pitch against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

While McAdory's victory against Hueytown wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Yellowjackets sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Golden Gophers on Tuesday. While McAdory didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-14-2), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bessemer City). They blew past Paul W. Bryant 12-2 on Tuesday. The high-scoring effort was just what Bessemer City needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Bessemer City moved to 7-7-2 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for McAdory, their win bumped their record up to 11-1.

McAdory was able to grind out a solid victory over Bessemer City when the teams last played back in April of 2024, winning 2-0. Do the Yellowjackets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
