Basketball Recap: Civic Memorial Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Civic Memorial can now relate to. They fell just short of the Marion Wildcats by a score of 59-56 on Tuesday.

Civic Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 23-7. As for Marion, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-8 record this season.
