Soccer Game Preview: Karns vs. Stone Memorial

The Karns Beavers will venture away from home to face off against the Stone Memorial Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Karns will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each matchup than the last.

Karns is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 7-2 margin over Campbell County on Thursday. Karns haven't had any issues with Campbell County recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Stone Memorial sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over White County on Thursday. Johnathon Warlick had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Stone Memorial.

The victory made it two in a row for Stone Memorial and bumps their season record up to 11-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those two games. As for Karns, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 4-7-2.
