Volleyball Recap: Geneva Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

Geneva won the last time they faced Veritas Academy and things went their way on Saturday too. The Eagles walked away with a 2-0 victory over Veritas Academy.

Several Veritas Academy players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Bailey McGehee, who had seven kills, four digs, and two aces. McGehee is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had six or more in each of the last seven games she's played.

Geneva has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Veritas Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-15.

Geneva has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Savio on the 13th. As for Veritas Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against St. Michael's on the 13th.
