Wylie is 8-2 against Rowlett since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Wylie Pirates will be playing at home against the Rowlett Eagles at 7:30 p.m. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Wylie sitting on eight straight wins and Rowlett on four.

Wylie's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Naaman Forest as Wylie made off with an 8-0 victory. The Pirates might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven games by three goals or more this season.

While Rowlett didn't have the best season last year (they finished 8-14), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against Garland by a score of 2-0 on Friday. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while the Owls are ranked 287th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Wylie pushed their record up to 10-0-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 16 goals over those three contests. As for Rowlett, their victory bumped their record up to 5-1.

Wylie was able to grind out a solid win over Rowlett when the teams last played back in March of 2024, winning 3-1. Does Wylie have another victory up their sleeve, or will Rowlett turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
