Preview: Riverdale Raiders vs. Mariner Tritons
Riverdale has been on the road for five straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Mariner Tritons at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 82-43, which was the final score in Riverdale's tilt against Lehigh on Friday.
Riverdale's loss came about despite a quality game from Framel Avila, who scored 13 points along with 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Konnor Vonhagen, who scored 13 points along with 6 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Mariner pushed their score all the way to 60 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a serious blow against Sarasota, falling 88-60.
Riverdale now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Mariner, they now also have a losing record at 2-3.
