Baseball Preview: Logan Longhorns vs. Questa Wildcats
Logan is 7-0 against Questa since March of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Thursday. Last Monday, Logan made easy work of Gateway Christian and carried off an 11-1 victory.
Kaeden Stoner made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Stoner has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive pitching appearances. Stoner was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Logan got a big performance out of Mason Wallin, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was Devin Kotara, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
Questa played against Menaul/Oak Grove and lost via forfeit.
The win got Logan back to even at 2-2. As for Questa, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
