Cedar Hill has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They lost 6-0 to the Mesquite Skeeters on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Longhorns can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 624th, while the Skeeters are ranked 98th).

Cedar Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6-1. As for Mesquite, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cedar Hill has already played their next game (against DeSoto), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mesquite will take on Skyline at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Skyline will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Mesquite surely won't give up without a fight.
