Softball Recap: Southern Christian Takes a Loss

Southern Christian was the 7-5 winner over Lowndes Academy when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Southern Christian Patriots came up short against the Lowndes Academy Rebels on Friday, falling 8-1. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Southern Christian saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kimber White, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run.

Southern Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Southern Christian will be taking part in a tournament against North River Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Lowndes Academy will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Coosa Valley Academy at 4:00 p.m. on March 3rd.
