Othello barely beat East Valley the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Huskies put the hurt on the Red Devils with a sharp 9-1 win on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

Othello let Trey Tovar Iii and Xzyyvn Martinez run wild. Tovar Iii scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4, while Martinez scored two runs while going 1-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Zayvier Olazcon, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Othello's victory bumped their record up to 9-2. As for East Valley, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 10-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Red Devils beat Othello by a score of 4-1 later that day.
