The Scottsdale Christian Academy Eagles will be playing at home against the Morenci Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Scottsdale Christian Academy's defense has only allowed 12.7 points per game this season, so Morenci's offense will have their work cut out for them.
Two weeks ago, Scottsdale Christian Academy ended up a good deal behind Arizona Lutheran Academy and lost 35-21. The contest marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Isaiah Steffen, who picked up 125 receiving yards and two scores. He is on a roll when it comes to receiving touchdowns, as he's now hauled in two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Sean Helgeson was another key player, having thrown for 267 yards and three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, it can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Morenci had no problem doing just that on Friday. They claimed a resounding 45-6 win over the Warriors. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won four games by 26 points or more so far this season.
Scottsdale Christian Academy better keep an eye on Julien Aragon. He was instrumental in Morenci's win, rushing for 262 yards and four TDs while picking up 11.4 yards per carry. Aragon is becoming a predictor of the Wildcats' success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 2-4 when he doesn't).
Morenci was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 352 rushing yards. They are 6-2 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Morenci's victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-4. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.8 points on average over those games. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 9-1.
