Volleyball Game Preview: St. Rita Mustangs vs. Loyola Academy Ramblers

The St. Rita Mustangs will face off against the Loyola Academy Ramblers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

On Tuesday, St. Rita came up short against Brother Rice and fell 2-0. The Mustangs have struggled against the Crusaders recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Loyola Academy narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past St. Francis 2-1.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Loyola Academy got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-22, 23-25, 25-22.

St. Rita's loss dropped their record down to 6-20. As for Loyola Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-14 record this season.
