Softball Recap: Union Takes a Loss

Union and Bayonne squared off in some playoff action on Wednesday, but Union had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Bees by a score of 5-4. The Farmers just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Union's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Bayonne, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season.

Union does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bayonne, they have already played their next match, a 7-6 loss against Bridgewater-Raritan on the 30th.
