Softball Recap: Mashpee Comes Up Short

Mashpee lost to Bourne back in May of 2019 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Falcons came up short against the Canalmen, falling 21-3. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Mashpee's loss dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Bourne, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-11.

Looking ahead, Mashpee will be playing at home against Dennis-Yarmouth Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bourne, they will venture away from home to square off against Case at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cardinals will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something the Canalmen surely won't give up without a fight.
