Soccer Recap: Tyler Comes Up Short

Tyler lost against Whitehouse back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tyler Lions lost 4-0 to the Whitehouse Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 378th, while the Wildcats are ranked 185th).

Tyler's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Whitehouse, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-1-2 record this season.

Tyler has already played their next matchup (against Non Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Whitehouse take on the Hallsville at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Whitehouse is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games.
