Soccer Recap: Easthampton/Hampshire Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Taconic on Friday, Easthampton/Hampshire came back down to earth. The Eagles fell just short of the Holyoke Purple Knights by a score of 2-1 on Monday. While losing is never fun, Easthampton/Hampshire can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 270th, while Holyoke are ranked 134th).

Easthampton/Hampshire has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Holyoke, they pushed their record up to 11-5-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

As of now, neither Easthampton/Hampshire nor the Purple Knights have any future games scheduled.
