Charlotte can bid farewell to their five-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Lakewood Vikings out 40-38. The score was all tied up 19-19 at the break, but the Orioles were the better team in the second half.

Charlotte's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Peyton Howarth, who posted 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Avery Silvas, who put up 12 points and five assists.
