Softball Recap: Holy Spirit Starts off Right with Win over Atlantic Christian

Holy Spirit had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Atlantic Christian Cougars 18-1 on Wednesday.

Jazlynn Santiago was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple.

Holy Spirit always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .750. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Atlantic Christian only posted an OBP of .235.

This is the second loss in a row for Atlantic Christian and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Holy Spirit wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 7-6 win against Our Lady of Mercy Academy on the 28th. As for Atlantic Christian, they have also already played their next contest, a 17-10 victory against The Pilgrim Academy on the 4th.
