Soccer Game Preview: Providence Hall vs. Mountain View

The Providence Hall Patriots will head out to square off against the Mountain View Bruins at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Providence Hall took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over South Sevier. It was an even better day for Dylan Chapman as he scored three goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Mountain View got the win against West Jordan on Friday by a conclusive 7-1. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 4-1.

The win made it two in a row for Mountain View and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored ten goals over those two matches. As for Providence Hall, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
