Baseball Recap: Mountain Heritage Comes Up Short

Mountain Heritage lost against North Buncombe two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Mountain Heritage fell 5-2 to North Buncombe.

Mountain Heritage saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Deyton, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

Mountain Heritage's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for North Buncombe, their win bumped their record up to 9-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain Heritage will take on Polk County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Buncombe, they will challenge Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
