Beaver is still undefeated this season after their matchup against Morgan on Saturday, but Morgan came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Beavers came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Trojans. Those three runs were actually the fewest the Beavers have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Ki Anzalone spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on seven hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, Raider Blomquist was excellent, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2025. Beckham Beaumont also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Beaver's record is now 5-0. As for Morgan, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Beaver will be taking part in a tournament against American Leadership Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Morgan, they will venture away from home to challenge Mountain View at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
