After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Seymour, Waupaca was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 28-8 margin over the New London Bulldogs. The Comets have beaten the Bulldogs the last five times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Bulldogs has come to flipping the script.

Waupaca's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for New London, their defeat was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-5.
