Basketball Game Preview: Kingman Academy Tigers vs. Rancho Solano Prep Mustangs

The Kingman Academy Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Rancho Solano Prep Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Kingman Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Rancho Solano Prep likes a good challenge.

It was a proper cat-fight when Kingman Academy challenged North Valley Christian Academy last Thursday. Kingman Academy received a blow as they fell 75-56 to North Valley Christian Academy. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 225th, while the Lions are ranked 94th).

Despite the loss, Kingman Academy had strong showings from Josh White, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 12 boards, and Jordan Fager, who went 7-for-14 to rack up 17 points and seven rebounds. That's the most rebounds White has posted since back in January of 2024.

Meanwhile, Rancho Solano Prep came up short against Gilbert Christian on Friday and fell 76-63.

Rancho Solano Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 17-10. As for Kingman Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 13-9.
