Softball Recap: Tri-County Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Tri-County's offense. They came up short against the Almond-Bancroft Eagles on Monday, falling 15-0. The loss continues a trend for the Penguins in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost nine in a row.

Tri-County's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Almond-Bancroft, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Tri-County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-13 win against Marion on the 29th. As for Almond-Bancroft, they have also already played their next contest, a 16-0 victory against Pittsville on the 29th.
