Covington waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the Dyer County Choctaws. That's two games straight that the Chargers have won by exactly two runs.

Covington's victory bumped their record up to 18-12. As for Dyer County, their defeat dropped their record down to 27-12.
