While Red Wing's win against Mankato East wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wingers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Cougars on Saturday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Red Wing is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Mankato East, their loss dropped their record down to 6-5.

Red Wing wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Albert Lea on the 20th. As for Mankato East, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Austin on the 20th.
