The Luther Prep Phoenix will head out to challenge the Heritage Christian Patriots at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Luther Prep is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Luther Prep saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Owen Proctor, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Meanwhile, after low-scoring totals in their previous three contest, Heritage Christian brought some dynamite into their most recent game. Everything went their way against Faith Christian on Saturday as they made off with a 21-1 victory. With that win, the Patriots brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
M. Geibl made a big impact no matter where he played. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. He was even better at the plate, getting on base in four of his six plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI.
In other pitching news, F. Siebert looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
Back at the plate, A. Barningham was incredible, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and five RBI. Those runs marked the first that he has scored this season. I. Dufek was another key player, getting on base in four of his six plate appearances with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Heritage Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .483. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matches.
The victory snapped Heritage Christian's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record. As for Luther Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-4.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Luther Prep has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Heritage Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 6.2 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Luther Prep took their win against Heritage Christian in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 7-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Phoenix since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
