Basketball Recap: Logansport Comes Up Short on the Road Against Lafayette Central Catholic

Logansport had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They were dealt a 42-13 defeat at the hands of the Lafayette Central Catholic Knights on Tuesday. The Berries were not able to make up for their loss to the Knights from their previous meeting back in November of 2024.

Lily Clem was Logansport's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Clem also led the team in rebounds with ten. Kayleigh Knickrehm took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Lafayette Central Catholic's win was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 2-0.

Logansport has already played their next contest, a 48-19 defeat against Twin Lakes on the 13th. As for Lafayette Central Catholic, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 53-46 loss against Western on the 15th.
