Volleyball Game Preview: Sedan Devils vs. Flinthills Mustangs

Sedan is 1-9 against Flinthills since October of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Devils will head out to face off against the Mustangs. The last three games Sedan has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

On Tuesday, Sedan didn't have quite enough to beat Caldwell and fell 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Sedan sadly wound up on the wrong side. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 20-25, 25-16.

Meanwhile, Flinthills was able to grind out a solid victory over Chase on Thursday, taking the game 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Flinthills took both sets by at least 19 points. The final score came out to 25-2, 25-6.

Flinthills' win bumped their record up to 17-6. As for Sedan, their loss dropped their record down to 6-11-2.

Sedan came up short against Flinthills in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
