Baseball Recap: Cajon's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Cajon barely beat Redlands the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cowboys' pitcher stepped up to hand the Terriers an 8-0 shutout on Thursday. The Cowboys might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Jaden Carpenter, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Caleb Koster, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

The victory made it two in a row for Cajon and bumps their season record up to 17-6. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Redlands, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12.
