Soccer Recap: Omaha Northwest Comes Up Short

Omaha Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss. They lost 10-0 to the Lincoln High Links. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Omaha Northwest of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2018.

Omaha Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 0-14. As for Lincoln High, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 5-11.

Omaha Northwest does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Lincoln High, they will face off against Kearney at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Kearney's last four matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
