Softball Recap: Monroe Takes a Loss

Monroe lost against Sylmar back in March of 2016, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Vikings lost 17-5 to the Spartans. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Sylmar, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Monroe and Sylmar will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matches. The next time the Vikings see the field they'll take on Van Nuys at 3:00 p.m. on the 23rd. As for Sylmar, their break will end when they face North Hollywood at 3:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
