Softball Recap: Bothell Takes a Loss

Bothell lost against Juanita back in March of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Bothell lost 10-2 to Juanita.

Kolbi Schmer made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. She has been hot recently, having posted at least one home run the last three times she's played.

Bothell now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Juanita, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bothell will host Cedarcrest at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Bothell's pitchers better be ready for this one: Cedarcrest has averaged an impressive 9.8 runs per game this season. As for Juanita, they will welcome Redmond at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Juanita 3.4, Redmond 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned.
