Baseball Preview: South Summit Wildcats vs. Grantsville Cowboys

For Grantsville's part, Kyle Brimhall was a major factor no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). Brimhall has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive pitching appearances. Brimhall was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

Back at the plate, Grantsville got a massive performance out of Brett Darrow, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Krue Warren, who went 1-for-3 with a home run, two runs, and two RBI.

South Summit's loss dropped their record down to 3-21. As for Grantsville, their victory bumped their record up to 19-2.
