Recap: Ellington Knights vs. Lyman Memorial Bulldogs
The Ellington Knights won against the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs last Friday with 58 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Wednesday. Ellington walked away with a 58-46 victory over Lyman Memorial. The victory was just business as usual for Ellington, who after three games remain undefeated this season.
Lyman Memorial lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kevin Botticello , who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 12 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Chandler, who scored 11 points.
Ellington's win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0. As for Lyman Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ellington will finish 2023 at home by hosting Woodstock Academy at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lyman Memorial, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Stonington at 5:00 p.m. on December 22nd.
