Volleyball Recap: Port St. Joe Comes Up Short

Port St. Joe came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Vernon Yellowjackets. The Tiger Sharks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Yellowjackets earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Port St. Joe couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Vernon a tough time in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-19, 33-31.

Port St. Joe now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Vernon, their victory ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10.

Port St. Joe has already played their next match, a 3-2 win against Marianna on the 2nd. As for Vernon, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Rutherford on the 2nd.
