Meanwhile, Berean Christian fell victim to Concord and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bears, falling 5-0. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Bears: they've now lost four in a row.

Berean Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Miramonte, their loss was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 3-1-4 and their overall record down to 3-4-6.

Everything went Miramonte's way against Berean Christian in their previous matchup on January 7th, as Miramonte made off with a 4-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Miramonte since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
